The 2007 / 2008 season brought success with the NFA Junior Cup being won 2-1 against Rushden and Higham, and third place in the league being secured.
Our third place finish earnt us promotion to the Ucl Premier Division allowing the club to play at step 5 of the non league pyramid for the first time in its history.
At the beginning of the 2009/10 season, Frank Ielapi stood from his first team managerial and the reigns were handed to former Corby S and L Reserve team manager Lee Duffy and his backroom staff.
Lees first season saw Corinthians retain their UCL Premier Division even though they finished in a relegation position. A semi Final place in the Hinchingbrooke Cup and early round wins in the FA Vase and FA Cup wee reward for a year of endeavour by a young squad. Jason Thurland who has previously coached at Corinths has taken the reigns for the 2010/11 season.
Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
