History

Rothwell Corinthians were formed as a church youth side in 1932 and quickly progressed to the Kettering Amateur League which later changed name to the East Midlands Alliance. For seventy years or so Corinths have lived in the shadow of near neighbours Rothwell Town.

Corinthians played in all divisions of the EMA with the climb to their present status really dating back to 1984 when they won promotion to the Premier Division. They were soon established in the league and won the championship for the first time in 1990.

Five years later, under the management of Dave McNish, a young Corinths side won the EMA title for a second time with a six point margin over their nearest challengers. Progress had also been made on the facility front and Corinths were duly promoted to the United Counties League.

Floodlights were installed in 1999 enabling the club to compete in the FA Vase and the club's facility improvements were recognised with the award of the 2003 Reserve Knockout Cup final to Sergeant's Lawn.
In 2002 Corinths reached the Northants Junior Cup final for the first time, losing 2-1 to Sileby at Nene Park, and the sides also contested the final twelve months later with Sileby repeating their earlier success.

The Youth team was formed in 2005 and in thier first season finished in a very respectable 4th place. An added bonus was that they won the coverted Knock Out Trophy beating Wellingborough Town 4-2 in the final.

In 2005-2006 season the Youth team entered the FA Youth Cup reaching the 3rd round of the preliminary stages before bowing out 1-0 to Buntingford Town. On the way they vanquished Ilford FC and Hullbridge Sports FC.
